I am married with seven great kids age 5-18. As they are getting older now, I want to make sure we have a 3 month cushion because there are more and more expenses like braces, contact lenses, sports and music lessons. I want to make sure we can continue status quo if my husband's job is ever in jeopardy. Luckily, I have all credit cards and car loans paid off and only a mortgage. That is the next thing to tackle!
